A Bridal Shower...

Hello and Welcome!
I hope you'll sit and stay awhile!

It's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!
I so look forward to sharing with you on those days!

Before I share my card with you, I'm wondering...have you seen the new collection coming next week?  It's the Sunrise Lily, and it is gorgeous!  I know I say that to you every time a new collection comes out...but it's always true!
If you haven't already seen the preview, you can see it here!

Now, this week I'm sharing with you a card I created using the adorable Sugar Hollow Collection
This has been the most popular collection to date with Heartfelt Creation releases, and it's so cute and I can totally see why everyone has fallen in love with it!

Well, this week that I decided that Sugar Hollow needed a wedding!
And what comes before a wedding?  A wedding shower of course!
So, I've created a wedding shower card to share with you today!

Allow me to share...

...and here's a closer look at our little feathered bride to be...

I've added some fine silver micro beads to her head to resemble a tiara as well as to her lace veil itself as jewel embellishments.  Isn't she beautiful, all ready for her woodland wedding!

The Sugar Hollow Collection is such a versatile collection to use for so many different occasions...and would make the most adorable wedding invitations as well.

I do hope you've enjoyed today's post!
Be sure to set aside some time today to take in the other gorgeous creations the rest of the design team have created for you this week on the Heartfelt Creations blog.  Also, if you're a Heartfelt Creations fan who loves to create with their products, don't forget that there is a design team call happening right now as well.  You can find all the information here!

Until next time...

Watch this video to learn how to shape the Birds and Blooms collection.

Create a 4.25" x 5.5" card base from white card stock.  Die cut one topper from the Regal Borders and Pockets Die and two side panels from the Fleur Borders and Pockets Die.  Adhere topper and side panels to the back of the card base.  Cut another backing piece for the card base and attach to back to cover assembly mechanics. Once again using white card stock, cut one die cut of the Spellbinders Fancy Weave Die. Adhere to card base as shown.  Stamp the large bird cage from the Sugar Hollow Collection onto white card stock using black ink, as well as one owl image, one branch image, three leaf bunches and one inking of the flowers from the Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set.  Color all images using distress markers.  Die cut all images using the coordinating dies.  Adhere bird cage to card base using 3D pop dots. Using the flower shaping tool kit, shape flowers, leaves and branch.  Adhere branch and flowers so that bird cage appears to be hanging from it. Using a small piece of lace and a strong glue, adhere the lace to the owl so it appears to be wearing a bridal veil.  Place a few dots of adhesive to veil and top of owls head and apply small micro beads to give the appearance of a tiara and jewel embellishments. Adhere to card as shown using pop dots.  Using black ink, add sentiment.  Lastly, apply Diamond Stickles to Basket Weave die cut, and a touch of Pink Taffeta Stickles to flowers.
