I Challenge You to...Make It Yourself!

Glad you could join me today!
I have an extremely busy week this week.  I have several projects I'm needing to complete and I also have the annual "Christmas Craft Sale" in our community this Saturday!  My hubby has been busy building my display unit and I need to get the last bits of things organized for my table!  I'm excited...it's been many years since I've had a table in a craft sale!  I hope some of my cards go home with people!  LOL

Well, onto todays challenge!  Over at Crafty Creations Challenges we are asking you to "Make it Yourself"! Whether it be a flower you've made, a gift card holder, a background paper to a card or layout or a gift box...the sky and your imagination is the limit!

This week our challenge is sponsored by ...

...be sure to check out the prize they are offering at Crafty Creations Challenges blog for one lucky random winner!

Unfortunately I was unable to prepare something with a sponsor image this go round as life got in the way as it often does.  What I would like to share with you today is a card box that I created to place a matching retro assortment of cards in for my craft sale.  I used a box maker to create both the top and bottom.  I then adhered the designer paper and image to the front. Both the designer paper and image have been an Etsy purchase.  The paper came from a store entitled blossompaperart, and the images for the set were a purchase from Lollipopisland.  I've added some Glitter Ritz to the image so there is some sparkle.  Once the cards are place inside, I will shrink wrap the bundle.  I was very pleased to see how great it looked once all sealed up!

Here's a look at the box I made myself...

and these are the matching retro cards that will be inside...just waiting for someone to use them!

Now I hope you're going to put your thinking cap on and see what kind of creation you can make yourself and showcase along with us at Crafty Creations Challenges!  And don't forget to check out the other DT creations for even more great ideas and inspiration!

Until next time...
