The Sunrise Lily Collection...

Hello and Welcome Everyone!
Today marks the release of another gorgeous collection by Heartfelt Creations...The Sunrise Lily!

Rich and regal in appearance, along with a divine fragrant beauty and ornamental trumpet shaped blossom makes the lily flower a well known garden variety and a sure sign that spring has sprung.  Heartfelt Creations invites you to prepare to welcome the season of new beginnings, fresh starts and the bursting forth of nature with the new Sunrise Lily Collection. As the title of this assemblage suggests, it is filled with the romantic hues of a beautiful sunrise or sunset...glorious shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows  which also reflect the stunning color palette of the lily blossoms as they appear in the gardens themselves. Ravishing shades of greens, creams and whites bring a crispness and a breath of fresh air just as the spring season itself. Patterned papers reveal regal ornamental iron like scroll work, dainty lace elements and lovely vintage like floral details.  Beautiful imagery of lily filled vases, pretty flower adorned garden hats and luscious floral bouquets grace varying sized card panels, scrapbook layouts and embellishment tags, and are replicated in five sets of delicately detailed stamp illustrations.  The crowning glory to the collection itself is the dimensional lily flower that will add a touch of reality to each of your springtime creations.  So, chase away those winter blues brought on by old man winter, combat spring fever by filling your creative space with a touch of splendor as you begin creating with the Sunrise Lily Collection for the upcoming spring and Easter season.

For my first project using this stunning collection, I decided to create a Birthday card.

Here's a peek...

My favorite lily is the Stargazer...so I've tried to recreate one on this card.  I've colored it a light pink, used a toothpick to add the dark pink dots, and then used prills to create the orange stamen.  The other lilies I have colored to blend in with the background image.  I've stamped the garden hat, colored it and then fussy cut it to add to the card.  I've used pop dots to adhere it to the card base so it would be more dimensional.

Here's a closer look...

And of course I've added tons of sparkle to this card.  These lilies are so rich and regal they just demand it!  LOL

I do hope you've enjoyed your visit here today!

Create a card base measuring 5"x7" using white card stock.  Within the paper collection, locate the premade card panel shown, as well as a premade card panel the same size with an orange outer edge. Using a black marker and the Happy Birthday stamp in the collection, ink the first word and then stamp onto panel.  Clean and dry stamp, ink second word with black marker and then stamp under first word.  Distress all edges of the main card panel using a distressing tool, tearing in a few places allowing the background paper to show through. Ink all edges with a brown colored ink. Adhere a piece of ribbon around the left side of the card panel. Create a triple loop ribbon embellishment to attach later on.  Adhere card panel to background card panel with orange outer edges.  Adhere card front to card base.  Locate the paper within the collection with the images that match the Lily Swirls Dies.  Cut out each of the three similar colored flower images to that on the card front. Shape each die cut slightly. Next, ink two stampings of the lily flower stamp uisng black ink.  Using memento inks and finger daubers, create two small flowers using a yellow and pink combination, and one large flower using a dark and light pink ink.  For the large flower, take a toothpic and and a few delicate dots to each of the flower petals.   Cut using coordinating die and then shape using flower shaping kit. Create two small stamens and one large from white card stock.  Ink the large stamen a light green.  Adhere orange prills to large stamen of pink flower, and then attach to flower.  Follow same steps for small stamen, using pink ink and Glitter Ritz. Arrange shaped flowers in a cluster as shown, and then add in the pre printed die cuts you have already created using pop dots.  You may need to trim apart printed die cuts. Adhere leaves to floral cluster.  Stamp one garden hat image using white card stock and black ink.  Water color using water color pencils.  Shape hat slightly, and then adhere to card using three pop dots stacked one on top of another. Lastly, adhere Glitter Ritz to pink lily, and a pink colored glitter to the rest of the flowers on the creation.
