My Wish for You...

Hello, and welcome!
I'm so glad you could join me today!

It's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, and I'm here today to share with you an elegant and simple card that showcases the beauty of the gorgeous Sunrise Lily!

I love the Sunrise Lily collection...not only is it beautiful...but the lily flower is perfect for pretty much any occasion....weddings, sympathy cards, baby projects, birthdays...you name it and the Sunrise Lily has you covered!

For my project this week, I decided to keep it more simple and focus on the beauty of the flowers.
I've created a card with a sentiment that can work for any last minute event that you need a card for.

Here's a peek...

I've kept the colors soft, and used a cream colored card base.  I've used a Spellbinders card creator die to create an elegant front.

Here's a closer peek at the flowers...

A sprinkling of glitter just adds to the beauty of these flowers.
So, if you are looking for a blossom that is easy to shape and is perfect for any occasion that arises, the Sunrise Lily is definitely for you!

Be sure to check out the other design team projects on the Heartfelt Creations blog this week!
The team never fails to inspire and provide new ideas for you to try!  Be sure to leave them some blog love, and I'd love to hear what you think of the creation I've posted today as well!

Until next time...

For a full video tutorial on how to shape the Sunrise Lily, please see here.

Create a card base from cream card stock measuring 10 7/8" x 4 1/4", and score at 5 3/4".  Continuing with cream card stock, cut one decorative card front from the Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy Die, and ink all edges using a soft brown ink.  Locate a pink patterned paper from within the Sunrise Lily Paper collection, and cut a piece measuring the same size as the front of the card base (the smaller section).  Adhere to front of card base. Adhere decorative die cut card front to card base.  (The card should now be able to stand open on a hard surface.)  Locate a soft cream patterned paper from within the Sunrise Lily Paper collection and cut an oval ide cut from the Heirloom Legacy Die set.  Ink edges with a soft brown colored ink and adhere to card front using pop dots.  Using the same pink patterned paper you used earlier, cut the decorative center from the Heirloom Legacy Die.  Once again ink all edges using a brown colored ink.  Using  black marker, ink the first words of the sentiment and stamp onto center  as shown.  Clean carefully and ink rest of sentiment with black marker and stamp onto center as shown.  Adhere to card front using pop dots.  Using the Memento Espresso Truffle ink, stamp two inkings of the Sunrise Lily Cling Stamp Set.  Using finger daubers, apply coral color to center and taupe color to outer edges.  Die cut two large lilies, and one small using coordinating die and shape. Die cut two large flower centers and one small using kraft card stock.  Stamp and color two images of the rounded swirl flower spray from the Sunrise Lily Swirls Cling Stamp Set using same color palette as the shaped lilies.  Die cut and shape flower sprays.  Adhere flower sprays to top and bottom of card front as shown.  Adhere one large lily to the top of the card front on flower spray, and one large paired with one small on the bottom of the card front on flower spray.  Adhere leaves to flowers as desired.  Adhere pearl embellishments to card front, and Glitter Ritz to flower petals and flower centers as shown.
